This is our evaporator .. It's wood fired 3'X8' with a steam hood.. Should produce 2-3 gallons of syrup and hour...
We'll see... (and taste) in late February or March next year..
Come up and see... If there is steam coming out of the stack we're making syrup...
By GPS you want; 45° 14' 00" N - 77° 38' 00" W and start hollering..

Hard to believe all that equipment is in that little building.... And there is still more to come! |
There is lots more work to do...
- Electrical - 95% complete
- Plumbing
- Eavestrough & Fascia - Done
- Finish the roof (done)
- Insulation & vapour barrier
- Painting the floor (done)
Plus I have about 3 miles of tubing to run... If anybody really wants to learn how tubing is run and how a bee field is run.
